Editor's note

The Lion King (1994) marks a pinnacle in animation, with its story of Simba's journey from cub to king capturing hearts worldwide. Hans Zimmer's Academy Award-winning score breathes life into the African savanna, blending with Elton John and Tim Rice's songs to create a soundtrack that's as timeless as the tale itself. Zimmer's orchestration captures the essence of the film's themes—courage, love, and redemption—through music that resonates with audiences of all ages.
