Editor's note

Leon: The Professional, directed by Luc Besson, introduces us to the unlikely bond between a hitman and a young girl. Set in New York City, the film masterfully combines elements of action, drama, and subtle humor, all while exploring themes of love, loss, and the blurred lines between good and evil. Jean Reno delivers a career-defining performance as Leon, bringing depth to a character that is both deadly and endearing, while a young Natalie Portman shines in her breakout role.
